Transfer Techniques
COLLAGE - [kuh-lahzh)
A composition made by combining on a flat surface various materials such as newspaper, wallpaper, printed text and illustrations, photographs, and cloth.
DECOPAUGE - [dey-koo-pahzh]
A technique of decoration in which letters or images are cut out of paper or some such material and then pasted onto a surface.
DIORAMA - [dahy-uh-rah-muh]
A three dimensional scene composed of a backdrop and figures.
ASSEMBLAGE - [uh-sem-blij]
A 3 dimensional composition made of various materials such as found objects, paper, wood, and cloth.
